Sarah Rehman is a health and wellness entrepreneur, yoga teacher, and the founder of Flying Buddha Studio, a mindful movement space that began as a small project and grew into a vibrant community. In 2017, Sarah transformed her basement in Potomac, MD, by hanging 10 aerial hammocks from the ceiling, creating a space for herself and others to explore aerial yoga. Her mission was simple: to make aerial yoga accessible to all bodies, regardless of experience.

As the Flying Buddha community grew, Sarah expanded her offerings from her home to a commercial location in Gaithersburg Maryland. She added aerial dance, lyra, the Great Yoga Wall, pole fitness, bungee fitness, and more, providing both children and adults with new ways to move mindfully.

Sarah’s journey as a wellness entrepreneur was deeply influenced by her personal experiences. After overcoming trauma in her youth, Sarah discovered the power of mindfulness practices in her own healing, sparking a passion to share those tools with others. Her husband, Michael Romeo, has been an unwavering supporter of Sarah’s vision from the beginning, encouraging her to pursue her dreams both as a teacher and a businesswoman.

While Flying Buddha Studio and Michael’s businesses may seem vastly different, they share a common thread: a love for creating spaces where people can connect, play, and have fun. This shared vision led to the creation of On St. Elmo, a place that combines entertainment, design, and immersive experiences to transform a night out into something memorable.

On St. Elmo is not just a restaurant, bar, or lounge — it’s an experience. From its stunning visuals and vibrant sounds to its exceptional food and drinks, every detail is designed to transport guests to a place that feels both timeless and new. With On St. Elmo, Sarah’s dream of bringing people together to enjoy life’s pleasures in a dynamic, sensory-rich environment has come to life.
